The VAIO® Music Clip™ (MC-P10), is a personal network player that provides consumers with the ability to store and play secure digital music content downloaded from the Internet or transferred from an audio CD. The Music Clip comes equipped with 64MB of built-in flash memory and holds up to 120 minutes of either ATRAC3 or MP3 music files.

The Music Clip uses a Digital Signal Processor (TI 16-bit fixed point DSP) which provides a peak performance of 100 MIPS and not only supports MP3 but other encoding formats. A lot of electronics including a stacked CSP is packaged in a pen shaped design which is 120mm long and 17mm in diameter.
