Palm Organizers   The Palm organizers have been astonishingly successful, capturing about 70% of the world market for handheld organizers and providing a powerful boost to that market.  Almost four million handheld organizers were shipped worldwide in 1998, up from just 1.6 million in 1996. Data transfer rates of 50 ­ 120 kbps already allow for rewarding internet surfing, and can even support video conferencing.
