Compaq Armada 7800 Laptop

The Compaq Armada 7800 utilizes the 266 MHz Intel Pentium II Mini Cartridge in a rather large 32cm x 26cm 5cm machine. A rather complex heat management design using a die cast machined aluminum heatsink and a variety of additional straps, greases, pads, etc are employed to dissipate eight watts of power. The Pentium die contains approximately 2100 bumps in a full staggered array with a nominal pitch of 250 microns. Many pwb’s are used in this machine with a variety of features....including BUM.
