The IEEC has a small but highly focused
electronics packaging technical library on the first floor of the Engineering
Building in the IEEC area. It contains over 150 of the latest texts
and references on packaging technology. These publications cover a full
range of topics from design to reliability and from process to manufacturing
technologies. In addition, there are over 65 periodicals, which include
technical and trade journals to help packaging professionals keep up
to date on technology developments.
For those interested in recently published technical papers, the library
has more than 200 conferece proceedings from all the major electronics
packaging converences. A collection of video tapes includes IPC training
tapes, and packaging-related lectures and symposia. In addition, there
are pertinent reports, market analysis data, and professional society
publications.
Materials in the library are available to individuals and companies.
The purpose of the library is to make a broad range of highly focused
resources available to university researchers and students, companies
and their technical staffs, and economic development agencies to enhance
their competitiveness.
The library is open five days a week during normal IEEC business hours
(8:30 am to 4:30 pm). The IEEC Technology Analyst is generally available
for consultation on what is available in the library and help in finding
it.
